This is a summer special to display a series of report collections that show you how unbreakable the defense of Love Baby is.

The first report comes from season 18's Baby. Undoubtedly, both offensive and defensive strength are better that time than now. It can be comprehended through players' ratings. The largest point difference in a single match created by Love Baby was the one against T&F, allowing the opponent not more than 5 points each quarter.

The next is the first round of season 18 Playoffs. Love Baby lost to JAMES123 with a 2-point difference after overtime. The team contributed a 10-9 ratings for perimeter D and inside D respectively. Despite of the tight defense, there was only 7 fouls for all the Baby players.

In recent season 27, Love Baby has shown her top-class defense among other D3 teams. Once in a game against BostonGarnett, Love Baby focused on 1-3-1 defensive tactics and recorded a level 14 rating. The defensive line was strung by Leung, Sze and Antonio, has forced the away team dropped drastically their shooting percentage to 26.5 and three-points field goal to 1-20, and also limited the assist number to 4. It was a classical practice for using 1-3-1 defense.
After showing the three reports with best defensive ratings Baby ever had that it is reasonable to call this team 'Unbreakable', there are in advance some statistics about how Love Baby can crowned the champion among others.

We are glad to have Baby manager MarCoN!c interviewed to reveal some tips on defense.

To gain a more respectable defensive efficiency, I always keep my starting guards with Perimeter defense (PD) level 13 or above. Of course small forwards should also have level 12, and for big men level 5 or above. We have that requirement for low post players because we must ensure they are able to guard those mid range shots. Of all skills, our training for PD is of first priority that young talents are always started being trained on this domain. Many of the famous players brought up by Love Baby were in this training system. Here are some examples, like Fan, Sanjin, and a somehow not very prospect boy Lee. They all have a certain level of PD.

Besides training, application of on-court defensive strategies is something mentionable and can be done more if we do not have star players.
Man-Man
The man-man defense is widely use for various purposes and which is the most basic tactic. When the opponent has no star players or they do not attempt to emphasize on neither out nor inside offense, man-man is commonly used especially in top leagues.
2-3 Zone
Even if they are specialized in low post scoring, we normally use man-man rather than 2-3 zone defense because giving up PD for only a few more processions from those rebounds is unwise. In the world of BuzzerBeater, three-point shots are much valuable than reality that sometimes the shooting percentage can reach to 20 or even lower. So if your team can maintain a 35-40% while pushing down theirs to 15%, it will be the key of winning. But occasionally 2-3 zone defense is used when they get extremely weak outside players.
3-2 / 1-3-1 Zone
Using 3-2 or 1-3-1 depends on how weak the opponents' secondary offense is. That means simply if they focus on long range jumpers, but with a certain level of low-post players not negligible, then adapting a 3-2 is a insured plan. The use of 1-3-1 is likely the case of 2-3 zone.
Others
Some suggest 1-3-1 can defend low-post specialized team by blocking most inward passes. Personally, I am still testing on this and not sure if it works. But it does force the opposing team a huge drop of 3-point shooting percentage and in the number of assists. Also, the inside/outside box and one are known to defend isolation, but still being tested since they are invented only seasons ago. Remember you can switch your defenders within the five positions which is a good feature to prevent mismatch.
